Casey has more than 20 years of experience in sustainable agriculture, environmental education, and natural resource management. He worked in organic certification for OEFFA and the Texas Department of Agriculture, has managed sustainable agriculture programs at the Wilds and Zane State College, and conducted natural resource management practices and environmental education with The Nature Conservancy and Lorain County Metroparks.
Casey has hands-on farming experience from working at Aullwood Audubon Center and Farm, growing fruits and vegetables and raising chickens at home, and growing up on a 220-acre farm in Guernsey County, Ohio, where his family raised beef cattle and pigs.

Johnnie grew up and resides on a generational farm in Stark County, Ohio. From his family farm and other farming experiences, he has been exposed to a wide variety of enterprises, including dairy, grain, livestock, fruit, and vegetable production. He has an educational background in sustainable plant systems from the Ohio State University, where he learned aspects of plant physiology and performed specialty crop research in high tunnel settings.
Johnnie loves to get outside and observe the connections between agriculture, humans, and the environment.

John has been educating and providing technical support in conservation and sustainable agriculture for more than 25 years. His previous work with Watershed Organic, Snowville Creamery, and United Plant Savers has given him deep hands-on experience in building relationships with farmers and consumers, program development and event planning, providing technical support, and advocating for sustainable practices.
John lives on his farm in Meigs County, Ohio, where he raised his two children and now spends his time growing food, traveling, forest farming medicinal plants, making music, and building, breaking, and fixing things.
